|
This intensive option integrates an EMT-Basic course and a Wilderness Upgrade for Medical Professionals course into a single month-long program. Please note:
Students must be 18 years of age before the course start date. Students must also have a current healthcare provider level CPR (most commonly called CPR for the Professional Rescuer or BLS Heathcare Provider CPR) and a TB test completed within 1 year of the last day of the course.
Great news! Partial scholarships are now availble for WEMT courses beginning after September 1, 2008. Click here for more details.

| Wilderness EMT "3 + 1" Format |
The WEMT “3 + 1” format is a combination of a three-week urban EMT intensive program followed by a 5 day Wilderness Upgrade for Medical Professionals (WUMP) course. Students may participate in one or both sections of the program.
