The National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) is a private,
nonprofit, educational corporation, with the international headquarters
located in Lander, Wyoming. NOLS operates in 13 locations throughout
the world: Lander, Wyoming (Rocky Mountain); Driggs, Idaho (Teton Valley); Palmer, Alaska
(Alaska); Conway, Washington (Pacific Northwest); Mulege, Baja
California Sur (Mexico); Coyhaique, Chile (Patagonia); Tucson,
Arizona (Southwest); Christchurch, New Zealand (New Zealand);
Broome, Australia (Australia); Ranikhet, India (India); Manaus, Brazil (Brazil); Nunavut, Baffin Island (Baffin Island) and Whitehorse,
Yukon Territory (Yukon).
NOLS' mission is to be the leading source and teacher of wilderness
skills and leadership that serve people and the environment. NOLS
students enroll for a variety of personal goals, from skill development
to wilderness appreciation to leadership development. NOLS hopes

wilderness skills and leadership, and in the management and operation
of an outdoor education program.
